Saturday HardCore/Punk Matinee

NOTE: While we’re still putting on shows in collaboration with venues across the city, being without our space means we are unable to do the weekly matinee. Once we’re back in 156 Rivington (July 2026!) we’ll resume as normal. In the meantime, keep an eye on the website, mailing list (sign-up!) and Instagram for news of upcoming shows.

For over twenty-five years ABC No Rio’s Saturday Matinee has been run by a volunteer collective dedicated to providing an all-ages venue for the independent punk and hardcore music scene.

We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive scene where all can feel welcome and comfortable, regardless of race, gender or sexual identity. We do not book racist, sexist or homophobic bands.
